Summer Escape

First Stop:

MANILA

At first we really don’t know where to go for a holiday this year. We have tons of options in fact, and since we work in the Aviation we can easily get cheap tickets in any city we fancy. But having a toddler is a great consideration for us since it’s been ages that we spend some quality time as a married couple.

We don’t expect to consider going to Philippines again since we went home last year. But since we want to be ‘alone’ this time, leaving the child to the parents was the  only option.

We decided to stop in Makati  for four days. Having my dad tugging along with us was a great help. We stroll and dine during the day and had date nights while the child and my dad were in the place we rented.  It’s our first time to use airbnb and truly it was the best thing. We stayed in an amazing unit in Greenbelt Hamilton. It’s a two-bedroom apartment in a nice area in Makati. Five minutes by car, and fifteen minutes by foot to malls, parks, etc.

Here are some things we did for four days…

We had Vietnamese on the 2nd day…

( we had a buffet lunch when we arrived on the first day)

Then we had Korean BBQ  that night at Soban.

Japanese  lunch the next day…

We also visited the Mind Museum before having lunch.

Then that night we got home drunk and happy after having a great time in a Japanese Bistro.

The fourth day we needed to check out early to catch a flight to Busuanga.

It was a fabulous First Stop for our Vacation.

Two more stops…
